Weak in places

Desk audit. TBR carried out this audit on its own initiative, using public sources only. No firm paid for it. No accounts were opened or tested, so Execution & Pricing and Operational Resilience were not assessed and do not count towards the grade. Alpari may respond, and any response is published in full. Summary

Alpari is run by Parlance Trading Ltd, a company licensed in Mwali, an autonomous island of the Comoros. It holds no licence from a tier-one or tier-two regulator, discloses no owner, and offers clients no compensation scheme. No enforcement action against the current operator was found; the 2015 collapse of Alpari (UK) is more than eight years old and is recorded but not scored.

Notes and sources

Evidence and scope

Scope

Desk audit of the brand’s client-facing entity, using public sources only: regulator registers and announcements, court and company filings, and the firm’s own published documents, as available on 9 October 2026. No accounts were opened, nothing was tested live, and the firm was not asked for evidence.

Limitations

Absence of a public enforcement record is not evidence of good conduct. The MISA register could not be accessed live, so licence details rely on archived copies. An FCA warning about Alpari Limited from March 2022 is recorded by IOSCO but is no longer online at the FCA, and its status could not be confirmed. The link between Alpari’s current operator and earlier Alpari companies in the UK, Russia and Mauritius could not be established from primary sources.

Evidence reviewed

  • MISA register entries for licence T2023236 (archived copies, 2023 to 2025)
  • Alpari client agreement, terms of business and site disclosures
  • Financial Commission membership records
  • Bank of Russia licence annulment, 27 December 2018
  • FSA Final Notice, Alpari (UK) Limited, May 2010
  • Alpari (UK) Limited special administration records, Companies House
