TBR DESK AUDIT · PUBLIC SOURCES · BBB 51/100

Adequate

Desk audit. TBR carried out this audit on its own initiative, using public sources only. No firm paid for it. No accounts were opened or tested, so Execution & Pricing and Operational Resilience were not assessed and do not count towards the grade. InstaForex may respond, and any response is published in full. How desk audits are scored. See Verified audits, which our trading experts test hands-on.

Summary

InstaForex’s EU business holds a CySEC licence, and its international clients contract with InstaFinance Ltd, which is regulated in the British Virgin Islands but offers no compensation scheme. Its international site advertises reimbursement of trading losses and guaranteed tripling of profits, leverage of up to 1:5000 and deposit bonuses of up to 1,000 times the deposit. We found no enforcement action in the last eight years; a 2018 CySEC fine is recorded but not scored.

Notes and sources

Evidence and scope

Scope

Desk audit of the brand’s client-facing entities, using public sources only: regulator registers and announcements, court filings, the global LEI system, and the firm’s own published documents, as available on 10 October 2026. No accounts were opened, nothing was tested live, and the firm was not asked for evidence.

Limitations

Absence of a public enforcement record is not evidence of good conduct. The BVI FSC register does not show licence numbers, and its enforcement list could not be searched because the site limited our access. The outcome of the 2011 CFTC case was not found. The role of Insta Global Ltd and the group’s owner could not be established from public sources. The Brazil and Ontario warnings are taken from IOSCO’s I-SCAN records. The share of clients served through each company could not be measured from public sources.
