Summary
TMGM serves Australian clients through Trademax Australia Limited, licensed by ASIC, and international clients through Trademax Global Limited, licensed in Vanuatu, with further licensed companies in Seychelles and Mauritius. In 2024 ASIC stopped the Australian company from onboarding retail CFD clients for about a month over a flawed target market questionnaire. The owners are not disclosed, and no client has access to a compensation scheme.

Findings
Regulation & Licensing
60/100The ASIC licence of Trademax Australia Limited and the Vanuatu, Seychelles and Mauritius companies were confirmed on the regulators’ registers. The only client agreement published on the international site is that of the Vanuatu company, so the international business runs through offshore entities.
- StrengthTrademax Australia Limited has held Australian financial services licence 436416 since 21 May 2013, authorising it to deal in and make a market in derivatives and foreign exchange contracts for retail and wholesale clients.
- MediumInternational clients of tmgm.com contract with Trademax Global Limited, which the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission lists as an active financial dealer licensee (company 40356) since 22 December 2022.
- ObservationThe FSA Seychelles lists Trademax Global Markets (SE) Limited as a securities dealer trading as TMGM, and the FSC Mauritius lists Trademax Global Markets (International) Pty Ltd as an investment dealer licensed on 16 March 2023. Neither register shows the licence numbers the firm states (SD224 and GB22201012), and no client agreements for these companies are published.
Corporate Structure & Ownership
50/100TMGM names its four licensed companies, and all are identifiable on registers, but it does not disclose an owner or parent, and no freely available audited accounts were found.
- StrengthThe tmgm.com footer names each licensed company with its regulator, registration or licence number and registered address.
- MediumNo owner is disclosed. Trademax Australia Limited and the Mauritius company report to the global LEI system that no parent prepares consolidated accounts, and Trademax Global Limited reports that its parent has no LEI.
Client Money & Payouts
48/100No compensation scheme applies to TMGM’s clients in any jurisdiction. The Vanuatu client agreement holds client money on trust in segregated accounts, but allows it to be co-mingled and invested by the company, and contains no negative balance protection undertaking.
- StrengthTMGM states that client funds of its Australian company are held with National Australia Bank, an authorised deposit-taking institution, under its licence obligations.
- HighTrademax Global Limited’s client agreement states that client money is held on trust in segregated accounts “with an institution within or outside Vanuatu”, may be co-mingled, and may be invested: “We may invest any of your money held in any segregated account ... and you irrevocably and unconditionally authorise us to undertake any such investment.” The company keeps any interest or earnings.
- MediumThe Vanuatu client agreement contains no negative balance protection undertaking and allows the company to set off negative balances against the client’s other accounts. Clients of the offshore companies have no compensation scheme; TMGM cites professional indemnity insurance and Financial Commission membership, both private arrangements.
Execution & Pricing
Not assessed in a desk audit. Spreads, slippage and fill quality can only be measured with live accounts.
Conduct & Disclosure
76/100In May 2024 ASIC made interim stop orders that prevented Trademax Australia Limited from onboarding retail clients or dealing with them in CFDs and margin FX, over an inadequate target market questionnaire. The orders were extended in June and lifted on 25 June 2024, with no penalty. No other enforcement action was found.
- MediumOn 23 May 2024 ASIC announced two interim stop orders under the design and distribution obligations, after concerns that Trademax relied on a “poorly designed and inadequate questionnaire” that allowed prospective clients to change their answers and retake it every 24 hours to meet the target market. ASIC records that the orders were extended on 13 June 2024 and lifted from 25 June 2024. TMGM says it revised its questionnaire and onboarding controls.
- ObservationThe Securities Commission Malaysia has listed TMGM on its Investor Alert List since 2022, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore added Trademax Global Limited to its Investor Alert List in March 2026. Under our methodology these warnings are recorded but not scored. ASIC notices about websites impersonating Trademax Australia concern unconnected parties.
- ObservationTMGM’s international accounts offer leverage of up to 1:1000 and a 50% first deposit bonus. Under our methodology offshore incentives are recorded but not scored where lawful.
Operational Resilience
Not assessed in a desk audit. Uptime, incident history and security controls require evidence from the firm or live monitoring.
People & Community
30/100No Great Place to Work certification was found. TMGM reports a donation to UNICEF Australia, a three-year sponsorship of the Vanuatu Paralympic Committee’s programmes from 2026, school supplies for a primary school in Shaanxi in 2025 and support for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation in 2022.
- ObservationNo Great Place to Work certification was found in public sources.
- ObservationThe community initiatives are reported by TMGM itself; we found no independent reporting. Its partnerships with Chelsea FC and OG Esports are commercial and are not counted.

Evidence and scope
Scope
Desk audit of the brand’s client-facing entities, using public sources only: regulator registers and announcements, sanction records, the global LEI system, and the firm’s own published documents, as available on 10 October 2026. No accounts were opened, nothing was tested live, and the firm was not asked for evidence.
Limitations
Absence of a public enforcement record is not evidence of good conduct. The owners of the group could not be identified, and the accounts that Trademax Australia Limited lodges with ASIC are not freely available. Whether the Seychelles and Mauritius companies take clients, and the share of the business each company handles, could not be established. The licence numbers of the Seychelles and Mauritius companies are taken from the firm. The insurance policy TMGM cites was not reviewed. Only the most recent page of the FSC Mauritius enforcement archive could be reviewed, and Vanuatu enforcement records were not checked.
