- MediumThe group also operates XTB International Limited, authorised by the Financial Services Commission of Belize (registration 6442514), outside the main retail protection regimes.

Conduct & Disclosure
50/100Poland’s regulator fined XTB S.A. PLN 20 million in 2026 over client assessment, product governance and the information it gave clients about CFDs, France’s AMF sanctioned it in 2021, and Brazil’s CVM opened a sanctions case against XTB International Limited in 2025 that is still open. A 2018 Polish fine is older than eight years and is recorded but not scored.
- HighOn 30 March 2026 the KNF fined XTB S.A. PLN 20,000,000 for failings between January 2022 and September 2023: not properly establishing whether clients had the knowledge and experience to understand the risks, not defining target markets in a way that reflected the complexity of the instruments, not properly identifying conflicts of interest linked to the “HOT list” it published to clients, and giving clients unreliable and misleading information about CFDs and their risks. XTB asked the KNF to reconsider, and on 28 August 2026 the KNF issued a final decision upholding the fine.
- MediumOn 8 November 2021 the AMF Enforcement Committee issued a warning and a €300,000 fine against X-Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski (now XTB S.A.) for breaches in France between November 2013 and February 2020, covering CFD marketing, the assessment and categorisation of clients, and failing to inform clients of a technical difficulty on its platform.
- MediumOn 3 June 2025 Brazil’s CVM opened sanctions case 19957.005989/2025-33 over a public offer of securities to Brazilian residents by an institution outside the securities distribution system, naming XTB International Limited together with Finvest Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários Ltda. and one individual. XTB International Limited submitted a settlement (termo de compromisso) proposal on 29 October 2025, which the CVM’s records show under review. These are charges, not findings.
- ObservationOn 18 September 2018 the KNF fined X-Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski PLN 9,900,000 for executing client orders between January 2014 and May 2015 with asymmetric price settings that favoured the firm. Poland’s Supreme Administrative Court dismissed XTB’s final appeal on 28 February 2023. The decision is more than eight years old, so it is recorded here but not scored.
Operational Resilience
Not assessed in a desk audit. Uptime, incident history and security controls require evidence from the firm or live monitoring.
People & Community
70/100XTB reports Great Place To Work certification in Poland in 2025. Its community work runs through the XTB Foundation, set up in December 2020, which supports financial education for young people, employee volunteering and charitable causes.
- StrengthXTB reports that it was certified as a Great Place To Work in July 2025, after a Trust Index survey of its employees in June 2025.

Evidence and scope
Scope
Desk audit of the group’s client-facing entities, using public sources only: regulator registers and announcements, court and stock-exchange filings, and the firm’s own published documents, as available on 8 October 2026. No accounts were opened, nothing was tested live, and the firm was not asked for evidence.
Limitations
Absence of a public enforcement record is not evidence of good conduct. FCA and KNF authorisation details are taken from the firm’s disclosures; those registers could not be queried directly for this audit. We did not establish whether XTB has challenged the KNF’s final decision of 28 August 2026 in court, or whether the CVM has decided on XTB International’s settlement proposal. The share of clients served through the Belize entity could not be measured from public sources.
